Judge Napolitano pulls the veil!

I saw this youtube video this weekend, and thought it did a great job explaining exactly how I've been feeling. Also, pretty much the exact reason I've been supporting Ron Paul in this election. Please watch the video, and I'll have a few thoughts afterwards...

"What if the 2 party system was a mechanism used to limit public opinion?"

"What if there is no such thing as public opinion? What if what we call public opinion is just a manufactured narrative,
that makes it easier to convince people that if their views are different, there is something wrong with them?"

"What if government policy remains the same, no matter what the public wants?"

"What if both parties just want power?"

"What if government policies didn't change when leaders did? What if no matter who won an election, governments stayed the same?"

"What if Bill Clinton declared big government was over, but just convinced republicans like Newt that government could work for him?"

"What if Ronald Reagan spent 6 years running for president promising to shrink the government, but it only grew while he was in the White House?"

"What if Rick Santorum is being embraced by voters who want small government, even though he voted for the patriot act, expansion of medicare, and raising the debt ceiling?"

"What if Ron Paul is being ignored not because he's unappealing or unelectable, but because he doesn't fit into the pre-manufactured public opinion mold used by the establishment to pigeon hole the electorate and create the so-called narrative that drives media coverage of elections?"

"What if it were possible to have a real game changer?"
"What if we could make elections matter again?"

Those last 2 are telling... As a nation, we have allowed ourselves to be ran by the media and the powerful elites. You can talk about how evil Barack Obama is, but I can point out how he has continued Bush policies and almost become a war monger himself.

The direction we're headed is a predictable one. Both parties, as the Judge pointed out, scream as if they have vastly different opinions. Yet at the root, you can see both parties having similar agenda's once in office. This is why I've supported Ron Paul. He is outside the establishment. He isn't part of their Sunday cricket league. Santorum... Romney... both will continue with business as usual. There is only one guy I KNOW will stand up and protect our freedoms. You don't have to agree with everything a candidate says, only the core values of your belief system. I know where Ron Paul stands... the actions and rhetoric of the others don't match up.
