b/c he wants to "spread the wealth around". Finally Obama says it in his own words. Also, around the 2 minute mark of this video, Obama's tax plan is discussed, and they make the point I made in this post.
I don't care what you say, what reasoning is used, I do not agree with the notion that we need to "spread the wealth around".
Edit: If you would like to be emailed when I make a new post, let me know and I'll add you to the list.

1. Some artificial means must distribute wealth to the poor to keep capitalism viable.
2. There is no excuse for widespread or even isolated poverty.
3. Even if you want to punish irresponsible adults, there are innocent children and spouses.
4. As a Christian, what nobler thing would you have your government do?
It is patriotic to send the sons of the poor to fight "for our freedom" but paying a tax bill is something for chumps and hippies? I don't get it, and none of you has ever even begun to make a solid argument to me.
Unfettered capitalism is just as doomed to failure as socialism. It is workable, and the best idea yet, but it requires artificial means to fairly distribute wealth to actual consumers of goods.
By the way, Joe is not a licensed plumber, has a lien on his house because he owes back taxes, and could not remotely begin to buy a company that nets $250,000, nor any amount that would cause him to pay increased taxes under the Obama plan.
Please e-mail updates to me if you wish. I'd be honored.
I'm not trying to attack, persuade, brainwash or corrupt you. Challenge you, yes... I like talking to Republicans about politics more than with like-minded people. And I like to be challenged and even corrected by anybody on his A game...
By the way, I am far less certain of my politics that I let on. If Clintonomics works again, I'll shift my position from hopeful, but empirical partisan to dogmatic curmudgeon.
